Sandra Liles Walker of Russellville, Arkansas (formerly of Waldron, Arkansas) passed from this life, Sunday, September 6, 2015 in Russellville, Arkansas. Sandra was born December 24, 1955 to J.R. (Jake) Liles and Della Faye (Deramus) Liles in Mena, Arkansas. Sandra was 59 years, 8 months and 13 days old.
Sandra loved her grandchildren and cherished her time with them. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She realized that we were not promised tomorrow and always ended a visit, call or even texts with "luv yas" so that people always knew that she loved them. Sandra always loved animals, especially horses. She always loved to ride horses and when she was a young adult enjoyed working at the Waldron Livestock Auction. She still would talk of her time there and still kept in touch with some of the friends she made while there. She enjoyed being outdoors and watching rodeos. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Russellville, Arkansas.
Sandra leaves behind to cherish her memory, one daughter, Michelle Liles Herron and husband Joshua of Russellville, Arkansas, and two sons: Corey Liles and wife Misty of Dardanelle, Arkansas and Shane Oswald of San Diego, California. Sandra will forever remain in the hearts of her grandchildren: Hannah Fore, Ruger Day and Allie Marie Oswald. Sandra is also survived by her parents: Jake and Della Liles of Russellville, Arkansas, one sister, Karen Akin and husband Thomas of Russellville Arkansas, one brother, Rob Liles and wife Catherine of Painted Post, New York, one niece, Kendra Jones and husband Ben of Little Rock, Arkansas, two nephews: Jordan Liles of Baltimore, Maryland and Andrew Liles of Painted Post, New York and two great nieces Lauren Jones and Madeline Jones of Little Rock, Arkansas. Sandra will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives were impacted by her including an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and neighbors.
Sandra was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Chester B. Liles and Ollie Belle Liles as well as maternal grandparents: Horace Deramus and Lena Deramus.
Sandra's life celebration will be graveside at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Cherry Hill Cemetery in Cherry Hill, Arkansas with Bro. Randy DeRamus officiating. Interment will follow in the Cherry Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
Sandra's visitation will be Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
