Ruby Wanita Quackenbush of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Monday, July 6, 2015 in Waldron, Arkansas. Ruby was 81 years, 5 months and 16 days old. She was born in Minot, North Dakota to Clarence O. George and Florence (Riley) George.

Ruby was a homemaker. She was skilled in arts and crafts. Ruby loved to crochet. Her biggest blessing was spending time with her family and taking care of them.

Ruby leaves behind to cherish her memory, one daughter, Florence (Beth) Owens of Waldron, Arkansas. Grandma will forever be missed by her grandchildren: Randy Davis and wife Melissa of Talihina, Oklahoma and William Maxell of Waldron, Arkansas and great grandchildren: Makyla, Austin and McKinny of Oklahoma. Ruby is also survived by one sister, Cleo Strickland of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Florence George, and two husbands, Shelby Desha and Leslie Quackenbush.

Ruby's life celebration will 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Jerry Isham officiating. Interment will follow in the Sehorn Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral in Waldron, Arkansas.

Ruby's pallbearers will be Chad Henderson, Leran Holmes, Mike Lance, Gary Clepper, Homer Perez and Paul Moore.

Ruby's visitation will be Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home where Ruby's family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
