Patrice Kareen (Frost) Barker

Patrice Kareen Frost passed from this life, Sunday, May 27, 2018 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Patrice was born on August 24, 1982 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was the youngest daughter of Don and Shelby Frost of the Keener Community in Parks, Arkansas. Patrice graduated from Waldron High School in 2000 and began her college courses at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas with a degree in Public Administration. She is survived by her husband Jay Barker, stepson, Bryson Barker, mother, Shelby Frost, five sisters, one brother and many relatives and friends.

Patrice had a passion for animals of all kinds and breeds. She loved and excelled in music in the Bulldog Band as first-clarinet throughout high school. Patrice excelled in many forms of art and photography.

Patrice was preceded in death by her father, Don Frost.

Patrice's graveside life celebration will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Hawkins Cemetery with Father Alejandro Puello officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Karen Sheehy (sister from Vacaville, CA), Rick Drake (uncle from Huntsville, AL), Charles Drake (cousin from Livonia, MI), Luke Drake (cousin from Johnson City, TN), Lindsey Friddell (cousin from Chattanooga, TN), and Bryson Barker (son of Jay Barker).

Patrice's visitation will be Friday, June 1, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
