Nancy Ann Hunt

Nancy Ann Hunt of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, January 4, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born August 18, 1934 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Nova E. Houston and Elva Gibson Houston. Nancy was 80 years, 4 months and 17 days old. Nancy was a longtime member of Waldron First Baptist Church in Waldron, Arkansas.

As a young woman, Nancy met and married the love of her life, Kelley Hunt. They were blessed with many years together. Nancy worked as a medical transcriptionist for several years. She enjoyed cooking and travelling. Nancy truly loved being with her family and friends making memories.

Nancy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 63 years, Kelley of the home, one son, Steve Hunt and wife Shelley of Waldron, Arkansas. Nancy is also survived by three sisters and four brothers: Sammie Simmons of Houston, Texas, Kathy Howard of Waldron, Arkansas and Judy Piles of Waldron, Arkansas, David Houston of Waldron, Arkansas, Jimmy Houston of Waldron, Arkansas, Scotty Houston of Salinas, California and Don Houston of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Nancy will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives were impacted by her including a large extended family of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Nova and Elva Houston, one sister and three brothers.

Nancy's memorial life celebration will be Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Bro. Larry Free officiating. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
