Mary L. Sexton of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born December 23, 1943 in Baldwin, WI to Neal W. Britton and Emma L. Keusel Britton. Mary was 73 years, 5 months and 21 days old. Mary was a devout Lutheran.
Mary was a die hard Greenbay Packer fan. Count her in for a ball game any time her team was playing. Mary was a kind and gentle woman. Her commitment to her family was unwavering and her love never faltered. If you knew Mary you knew happy. Time spent with family and friends were always treasured memories for Mary.
Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory, one daughter, Kathy Blair and husband Ronald and one son, John Schlorff and wife Samantha all of Waldron, Arkansas. Dinny will forever remain in the hearts of her grandchildren: Mollie Bell, Jessica Schlorff, Kurtis Bell, Tanner Long, Shane Bell, Connor Schlorff and Joey Cardenas as well as 8 great grandchildren. Mary is also survived by two brothers: Jerry Britton and Orval Britton. Mary will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives she impacted, including a host of extended family, friends, co-workers and loved ones.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Kennith Sexton, one sister, Eva Olsen, one brother, Lester Britton, one grandson Alan Williamson and one great grandson, Zander Long.
Mary's life celebration will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Waldron United Methodist Church in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Diane Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Hill Cemetery in Union Hill, Arkansas.
Mary's pallbearers will be Ronald Blair, Kurtis Bell, Tanner Long, Shane Bell, Connor Schlorff and Joey Cardenas.
Mary's visitation will be Friday, June 16, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas where Mary's family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
