Lloyd Lonzo Pollard

Lloyd Lonzo Pollard, of Fort Smith, Arkansas formerly of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in a Fort Smith, Arkansas nursing home. Lloyd was born October 14, 1939 in Blueball, Arkansas to Horace Alonzo Pollard and Della Mae (Sipes) Pollard. Lloyd was 75 years, 2 months and 3 days old.

Lloyd was of the Pentecostal faith, and a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved listening to the radio and fishing, above all he loved his daughter and his grandchildren.
Lloyd leaves behind to cherish his memory one daughter, Tina Saenz and husband, Raul of Waldron, Arkansas; 3 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Madge Hunt of Waldron, Arkansas, Rose Howell of Blueball, Arkansas, Sue Wilkens of San Diego, California, and Faye Stockton of San Diego, California. Lloyd will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by him including friends and loved ones.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, and four brothers.

Lloyd's life celebration will be 11:00 a..m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Rickey Hunt and Rev. Chris Burke, officiating. Interment will follow in the Hunt Cemetery in Tatetown, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Lloyd's pallbearers will be Raul Saenz, Ronnie Cox, Scott Howell, Greg Pollard, Mel Kenner, and Joe Howell.

Lloyd's visitation will be Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
