Henry Lewis McDaniel

Henry Lewis McDaniel of Cauthron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, February 11, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Henry was born June 19, 1942 to James Francis McDaniel and Edna (Prince) McDaniel in Waldron, Arkansas. Henry was 73 years, 7 months and 23 days old.

Henry was of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed fox hunting, deer hunting and being outdoors. He loved being a father and grandfather. Henry treasured the time he spent with his family and friends.

Henry leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 51 years, Ethel of the home, one daughter, Sheila Butler of Panama, Oklahoma and one son, Henry Jr. (BoBo) McDaniel and wife Bridget of Cauthron, Arkansas. Papa Henry will forever remain in the hearts of his seven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Memories made with Henry will be cherished by his siblings: James McDaniel, Thurman McDaniel, Jimmy Gene McDaniel and sister Willie Jane Newman. Henry will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives have been impacted by him including a host of nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and loved ones.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, James F. and Edna McDaniel, two sisters: Joann Yancey and Hazel Trozzi and two brothers: Mackey McDaniel and Coleman McDaniel as well as one niece Brenda Payne.

Henry's life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Mike Shaddon officiating. Interment will follow in the Centerpoint Cemetery in Hon, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Henry's pallbearers will be Jack Yancey, Keith Kesterson, Carl Long, Kevin Butler, Shylar McDaniel and James Mason. Honorary pallbearers will be Thurman McDaniel, James McDaniel, Jimmy McDaniel, Loyd McDaniel, Lonnie McDaniel, Larry McDaniel and Junior McDaniel.

Henry's visitation will be Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
