Eupha Edna (Stinson) Thompson of Fort Smith, Arkansas, (formerly of Waldron, Arkansas) went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, April 10, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Eupha was born October 1, 1933 in Weeks, Arkansas to Estle Stinson and Etta (Johnson) Stinson. Eupha was 82 years, 6 months and 9 days old. She was a member of Bates Baptist Church in Bates, Arkansas.
Eupha was a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of her family. Eupha also enjoyed singing and being on the farm surrounded by nature.
Eupha leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son Scott Thompson and wife Regina of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Grandma Eupha will forever be missed by her grandchildren: Katy Thompson Valdez and husband Jose, Maegan Thompson Duplantis and husband Brad, Mary Ellen Roberts Elam and husband Derek Elam and William Roberts as well as her great grandchildren, Sylvia and Ruby.
Eupha was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children, Dale Thompson and her second husband Ule Horn and one daughter Elizabeth Thompson Roberts.
Eupha's memorial life celebration will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Heyden Hall officiating. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
Eupha's visitation will be Monday, April 18, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas where Eupha's family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
