Edith Bernice Wright of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, February 26, 2015 in Waldron, Arkansas. Edith was born August 1, 1933 to Joe Warren Coyle and Bertha Edith (Heckhard) Coyle in Scott County, Arkansas. Edith was 81 years, 6 months and 25 days old.
Edith retired from the Waldron Furniture Factory after many years as a seamstress and then she worked on the family farm. Edith had a love of the outdoors. She was always ready for a drive in the mountains or to go to deer camp. No matter if she was looking for deer or sitting by the campfire, Edith was always there having a good time. Edith enjoyed reading and she had a talent for crocheting. She was very proud of her "Grand Champion" afghan. Edith loved her family and was always tickled to get a visit from them. Lots of memories were made to be treasured and kept close to the hearts of her loved ones.
Edith leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters: Belinda Bailey of Waldron, Arkansas, Diane Ivy and husband Red of Madison, Mississippi, and four sons: Howard "Stoney" Wright and wife Stephanie of Waldron, Arkansas, Mike Wright and wife Denise of Waldron, Arkansas and Keith Wright and wife Melissa of Waldron, Arkansas and Heath Wright of Waldron, Arkansas. Granny Edith will be missed by her 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren as well as one sister, Thelma Lawrence. Edith will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives she impacted including a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
Edith is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jackie Wright, her parents, Joe and Bertha Coyle, three sisters: Hazel Taff, Lois Hutchens, and Dorothy Hutchens, and three brothers: Roy Coyle, Warren Coyle and Raymond Coyle.
Edith's life celebration will be at 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2015 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Rickey Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Pilot Prairie Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
Edith's pallbearers will be: Richard Sehorn, JD Newberry, Robert McDole, Rob Hardin, Heath Wright Jr., Marvin Wagner and Brandon Mack. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Lawrence, V.L. Wright, Bill White and Rod Potter.
Edith's visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas where Edith's family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Edith's family would like to extended a heartfelt "Thank You" to Waldron Nursing Center and staff for your love and care of our mother and grandmother.
