David Michael Houston of Waldron, Arkansas (formerly of Waldron, Arkansas) passed from this life, Sunday, March 13, 2016 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. David was born February 24, 1956 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Nova Houston and Elva (Gibson) Houston. David was 60 years and 18 days old.
David enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with family.
David leaves behind to cherish his memory, one daughter, Shannon Houston of Bentonville, Arkansas, and one son, Brandon Houston of Cedarville, Arkansas. David is also survived by his siblings: Sammie Simons of Houston, Texas, Kathy Howard of Waldron, Arkansas, Judy Piles of Waldron, Arkansas, Don Houston of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Scotty Houston of Salinas, California and Jimmy Houston of Waldron, Arkansas. David will be missed by all that knew him and many whose lives he impacted including a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
David was preceded in death by his loving parents, Nova and Elva Houston, three brothers and two sisters.
A small family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
