Dalton Harrell Staggs

Dalton Harrell Staggs of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, December 10, 2015 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by many loving family and friends. Harrell was born July 23, 1940 in Beaucamp, Arkansas to John Wilson Staggs and Addie Mae (Aynes) Staggs. Harrell was 75 years, 4 months and 17 days old.

Harrell was a member and Deacon at the Temple Baptist Church in Waldron, Arkansas. He was a retired Air Force veteran.

Harrell leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife Betty of the home, two daughters: Brenda Staggs of the home, and Debbie Sheets of North Dakota. Harrell will forever remain in the hearts of three grandchildren: Corey Pryor, Wesley Pryor and Caitlynn Pryor of Tennessee as well as four great grandchildren: Savannah, Dalton, Braylon and Colston. He is also survived by one sister, Phylis Nelson and one brother, O'dell Staggs. Harrell will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by him, including a large extended family of nieces and nephews, many friends and loved ones dear to his heart.

Harrell was preceded in death by one infant son, his parents, John and Addie Staggs, three sisters: Dora Lee, Doris and Charlene and four brothers: Arnold, Dee, Athel and Danny.

Harrell's life celebration will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Temple Baptist Church in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Jack Smith officiating. Interment will be in Paola, Kansas.
Arrangements are being Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Harrell's visitation will be Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
