Barry Wayne Preston

Barry Wayne Preston, formerly of Waldron, Arkansas, passed from this life, Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in Texarkana, Texas. Barry was born September 10, 1958 to Kenneth W. Preston and Cecilia (Hoffman) Preston in Snyder, Texas. Barry was 57 years, 4 months and 9 days old. Barry was of the Assembly of God faith.

Barry was an avid fisherman. When time would allow, he also enjoyed watching the Arkansas Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys.

Barry leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Cecilia Preston of Parks, Arkansas, three children: Bridget Maxwell of Longview, Texas, Belinda Preston of Odessa, Texas and Jamie Webb of Searcy, Arkansas, one sister, Karen Schnitker of Murphy, Texas and one brother Daniel Preston of Hawaii. Barry will forever remain in the hearts of his eight grandchildren. Barry will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted, including a host of cousins, friends and loved ones.

Barry was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Preston.

Barry's graveside life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Thompson Jameson Cemetery in Parks, Arkansas with Rev. Pat Ray Biggs officiating. Interment will follow. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Barry's visitation will be Friday, January 22, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
