William Rodney Edwards of Mt. Ida, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, November 6, 2011. He was born March 5, 1965 in Portland, Oregon. He was 46 years, 8 months and 1 day old.
Rodney "Roan" was a man of the outdoors. He loved camping, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He loved working on motorcycles. He had a talent for playing music with his guitar and drums. He enjoyed his art work. He also enjoyed canoeing and traveling. Rodney was a man of many talents with a free spirit that would give to or help anyone.
Rodney leaves behind to cherish his memory one daughter Jacqueline Edwards, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and one gandson, Kayden of Fayetteville, Arkansas. He is also survived by his mother Linda Edwards of Mt. Ida, Arkansas, father, Carl Edwards of Waldron, Arkansas, two sisters, Lorlla & husband Billy Wallace and Rhonda Miles all of Waldron, Arkansas. Rodney is also survived by his grandmother Lorene Wheeler of Mt. Ida, Arkansas, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Rodney is preceded in death by his brother Curtis Dean Edwards.
Rodney?s memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2011 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Rickey Hunt officiating. Arrangements & cremation are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
