William Woodrow Blalock, 69, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Thursday, January 27, 2011 in a Fayetteville, Arkansas hospital.
William was born on November 28, 1941 in Boles, Arkansas to Woodrow Wilson Blalock and Evelyn (Sims) Blalock. He was a retired carpenter.
William is survived by; three daughters, Janet Pippin of Boles, Arkansas, Julie Shelton of Seagoville, Texas, Lynell Richardson of Mesquite, Texas; one son, William Blalock Jr. of Seven Points, Texas; eight grandchildren, Taylor Blalock of Garland, Texas, Brandon Blalock of Garland, Texas, Summer Richardson of Mesquite, Texas, Bobbi Burk of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Alberto Silva of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Ricky Blalock of Seagoville, Texas, Justin Close of Seagoville, Texas, Jennifer Scoggins of Celara, Oklahoma; four sisters, Barbara Gilbert of Waldron, Arkansas, Jo Ann Harlow of Cash, Texas, Mary Taylor of Anna Texas, and Carolyn Sullivan of Quinlan, Texas, and one brother; Edward Blalock of Fort Smith, Arkansas; companion in life, Reba Pearce of Waldron, Arkansas, and life long friend, Helen Rodgers.
William is preceded in death in addition to his father by one son, Michael Blalock.
William?s funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Pat Ray Biggs, officiating. Interment will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery in Boles, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron.
William?s pallbearers will be Jackie Gilbert, Buddy Tanner, Jeff Gilbert, Patrick Pippin, William Blalock JR, Bruce Keener.
William?s visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2011 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
