Vernon Lunsford

Vernon Lee Lunsford of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Monday, January 2, 2012 in a Waldron nursing home. Vernon was born December 27, 1946 in Waldron, Arkansas to the late Willie and Myrtle Lunsford. Vernon was 65 years and 6 days old. Vernon was a avid deer hunter, and also loved fishing. Vernon leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 45 years, Joyce Lunsford of the home, one daughter, Lisa Smith of Waldron, Arkansas, two sons, Heath Lunsford and Billy Lunsford both of Waldron, Arkansas. Vernon will also be greatly missed by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. In addition, he is survived by one brother, Charles Lunsford of Waldron, Arkansas. Vernon is preceded in death in addition to his parents by one son Pacer Lunsford. Vernon?s funeral service will be Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rickey Hunt officiating. Cremation will follow. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Vernon?s visitation will be Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
