Verdia Jett, 92, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Sunday, January 25, 2009 in a Waldron nursing home.
Verdia was born December 11, 1916 the daughter of the late Jess and Jossie Wagner.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Waldron Pentecostal Church of God.
Verdia is survived by her daughter Josephine and son-in-law J.T. Hutchens of Northfork, CA,; and daughter Verlene Trumble and son-in-law Terrel of Waldron, AR, 2 grandsons Jesse Hutchens of CA, Terrel Lee Trumble of Roland, OK; 3 granddaughters Jaylene Hutchens of CA, Kristen Carnahan and Valene Byford of Waldron; 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a number of nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death her husband Lester Jett, Father & Mother Jess and Josie Wagner, 3 brothers, Theo, Dale, & Herschal Wagner.
Her funeral service will be at the Waldron Pentecostal Church of God at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 with the Rev. Rickey Hunt and Rev. Kenton Rowe officiating and interment in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, AR.
Pallbearers will be Billy Carnahan, Alvin Carnahan, Billy Wagner, Ross Wagner, Ronnie Johnson, & Brad Byford.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2009
