Vallie Ruth Stealey of Waldron, Arkansas (formerly of Tecumseh, Oklahoma) passed from this life, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in Waldron, Arkansas. Ruth was born February 28, 1938 in Lamesa Texas to Rollie Bolton and Ruthie Lee Gibbs. She was 78 years, 9 months and 9 days old.
Ruth leaves behind to cherish her memory, five children: Richard Carlson of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Steven Carlson of Seminole, Oklahoma, David Carlson of Tecumseh, Suzanne Wilson of Sulphur, Oklahoma and Barbara Bell of Grants Pass Oregon as well as one sister, Donia White of Seminole, Oklahoma and one brother Carl Bolton of California. She will forever remain in the hearts of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ruth will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives she impacted, including a host of nieces and nephews, friends and loved ones.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Stealey, parents, Rollie Bolton and Ruthie Lee Gibbs and two sisters: Mary Strong and Juanita Retallack.
Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
