Truman Wood

Truman M. Wood age 77, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at his home.
He was born to the late Jess and Theodosia Wood on February 26, 1932. He was a cattleman, attended the Pleasant Grove #3 Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Truman is survived by one sister, Dorothy Jean Langdon of Parkville, Missouri; two nephews, Jesse Langdon of North Kansas City, Missouri, Rocky Langdon of Stockton, Missouri; three nieces, Connie Gittings of North Carolina, Juanita Mellenbruch of Stockton, Missouri and Roxie Pilla of Parkville, Missouri.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by two brothers, Wayne Wood and Omer Wood.
Truman?s funeral service will be Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove #3 Baptist Church with interment in the Pleasant Grove #3 Cemetery. Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
His visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2009 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
Truman?s family will receive friends at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, Friday, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m..
