Troy Anderson

Troy F. Anderson of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed from this life on June 23, 2009. He was born July 10, 1933 in Hendrix, Oklahoma. Troy was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings. He is survived by one son Keith Anderson and wife Debbie of Fort Smith, one daughter Lori Carpenter and husband Butch of Waldron, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was a graduate of Southmayd, Texas High School, North Texas State University, and a Veteran of the Korean War. He was hunter, rancher, businessman, Dallas Cowboys fan and civil servant. Cremation was entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron with a private burial in Texas at some later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Scott County Boys and Girls Club PO Box 1013 Waldron, AR 72958, or to a charity of choice.
