Sidney "Sid" Hunt

Sidney "Sid" Hunt of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, August 8, 2016 in Waldron, Arkansas. Sid was born August 2, 1957 in Mena, Arkansas. He was 59 years and 6 days old.

Sid married the love of his life, Jan Reynolds at the young age of 19. Over the course of their time together, they have worked hard, experienced a lot of laughs and made precious memories. Sid was an inspector for the Arkansas Highway Transportation Department. He enjoyed his job and had many friends. He loved working in his yard. He also enjoyed being around his extended family.

Sid leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 40 years, Jan of the home, his mother, Frankie Bates Hunt of Waldron, Arkansas, one sister, Lori Withers and husband Rick of Lavaca, Arkansas and one brother, Kelley Hunt of Hot Springs, Arkansas and companion Sabrina Jones. Sid is also survived by Bella, his dog. Recently Sid reunited with his biological dad, Charles Brown of Midwest City, Oklahoma. Sid will be missed by the many whose lives were impacted by him, including nieces, nephews, a host of extended family and a multitude of friends and neighbors dear to him.

Sid was preceded in death by his father, Reed O. Hunt.

Sid's life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Wally Beckman and Rev. Rickey Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Sid's pallbearers will be David Carnahan, Kerry Barnett, Robert Hunt, Gary House, Rick Evans and Nickey Hunt. Honorary pallbearers will be AHTD Transportation Dept.

Sid's visitation will be Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
