Shirley Mae Martin, 79 of Cauthron, Arkansas passed away Friday, June 12, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Thursday, March 13, 1930 in Waukegan, Illinois the daughter of the late Irving Fox and Ester (Carr) Fox.
She was retired from the Sheraton Hotel in San Diego, California.
Shirley is survived by two daughters, Deborah L. McKinney of Cauthron, Arkansas, Susan Widmer Feliz of Clear Lake, California; one son, Mel Widmer of San Diego, California.
Shirley is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one brother, Earl Fox of Waukee, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband of ten years, Ace Elfson; one daughter, Shirley Widmer; one great granddaughter, Rebecca Chronister; one sister, Ester Loyde; two brothers, Donnie Fox, and Bill Fox.
Shirley?s memorial service will be at a later date at the Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego, California .
Local services are under the direction of the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
