Sharon Kay Slagle, 61, of Y-City, Arkansas passed away Friday, August 22nd, 2008 at her home.
Sharon was born in Parks, Arkansas on August 25,1946, the daughter of the late Curtis and Allie (Hawkins) Johnson.
She was a member of Boles Southern Baptist Church and was retired from the Area Agency on Aging .
She loved her flowers and hanging wall paper.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Bob Slagle of the home; three daughters, Melinda Hutchens of Waldron, Arkansas. Lisa McEntire of Greenwood, Arkansas. Glenda Lennier of Fort Smith, Arkansas. one son, Robert Slagle of Boles, Arkansas.
She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Sharon is also survived by one sister, Charlene Hill of Greenwood, Arkansas. one brother, Jerry Johnson of Pine Top, AZ.
Funeral service will be at the Boles Southern Baptist Church, at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26th, with the Rev. Billy Maxey officiating with interment in the Chant Cemetery in Y-City, Arkansas under the direction of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home of Waldron, Arkansas.
Visitation will be Monday 5-9 P.M. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Taylor McEntire, Bradley Rhyne, Derek Richmond, Chance Slagle, Robert Slagle, Larry Denton, Ken Lennier, and Chuck Wright.
