Roy Harrison

Roy Glen Harrison, age 78, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Sunday, August 7, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Roy Glen was born June 26, 1933 to the late Roy and Edith Harrison. Roy Glen was retired from the Waldron Furniture Factory and was a cattle farmer for many years. He was a member of the Temple Baptist Church of Waldron, Arkansas. Roy Glen is survived by his wife Doria of 59 years; two sons Glen Harrison and wife Wanda of Hon, Arkansas, Danny Harrison and wife Carla of Waldron, Arkansas: one sister Betty Smith and husband Melvin of Waldron, Arkansas; one brother Bob Harrison of Waldron, Arkansas; two grandsons Doug Harrison of Woodbury, Tennessee, Greg Harrison of Waldron, Arkansas; one granddaughter Shawna Harrison of Waldron, Arkansas; one great grandson Dylan Harrison of Waldron, Arkansas; and a host of many other family and friends. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by one sister Wanda Underwood. Roy Glen?s funeral service will be Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.. at the Temple Baptist Church in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Jack Smith, officiating. Interment will follow at Duncan Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. His pallbearers will be Dylan Harrison, Arnold Williams, Paul Williams, James Smith, David Harrison, and Lester Smith, Jr.. Roy?s visitation will be Monday, August 8, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home where the family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m..
