Rose Ann Isham

Rose Ann Isham of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, March 25, 2014 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Rose Ann was born October 1, 1943 in Boles, Arkansas to Lone Barker and Mildred Esther (Simpkins) Barker. Rose Ann was 70 years, 5 months and 24 days old. Rose Ann was a long time member and pastor of New Life Center in Waldron, Arkansas. She was a devoted and faithful Christian. She strived to tell everyone she met about God and let him shine through her everyday life.

Rose Ann was retired from the State of Arkansas as a probation officer. However, she also held the position of Deputy Tax Collector in Scott County for many years. Rose Ann was a loving wife, mom, grandmother and friend to everyone she met. She was a warm and kind spirited person. She loved to spend time with her family. Family gatherings were among her favorite opportunities to make memories. She held each one very dear to her heart.

Rose Ann leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband Jim Isham of the home, two daughters: Rhoda Beyard and husband Doug of Waldron, Arkansas, and Amy Hattabaugh and husband Trevor of Mansfield, Arkansas, two additional daughters: Sherrie Coomer of Waldron, Arkansas, and Teresa Malone and husband Randy of Waldron, Arkansas, one son, Jimmy Isham and companion Donna Howard of Waldron, Arkansas. Rose is also survived by two sisters: June Horton of Greenwood, Arkansas and Patsy Slagle of Boles, Arkansas as well as four brothers: Bub Barker, Billy Wayne Barker, Robin Barker and Mack Barker all of Waldron, Arkansas. Nana will forever remain in the hearts of her 12 grandchildren as well as five great grandchildren. Rose Ann will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives were impacted by her including, a dear friend and the father of her children, Amos Zimmer, many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and loved ones.

Rose Ann is preceded in death by her parents Lone Barker and Mildred Simpkins Barker.

Rose Ann's life celebration will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at the New Life Center in Waldron, Arkansas with Pastor Jerry Isham officiating. Interment will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery in Boles, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Rose Ann's pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Luke Malone, Michael Beyard, Jaren Ridenhour, Bryar Hattabaugh, Jon Isham and Josh Mize. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Beyard, Phillip Mize, Treven Hattabaugh and Emily Beyard.

Rose Ann's visitation will be Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
