Ronald Watkins

Francis Ronald Watkins passed from this life Friday, January 11, 2013 in Waldron, Arkansas. Ronald was born March 18, 1944 to George Thurman Watkins and Geneva Inez (Taylor) Watkins in Boles, Arkansas. Ronald was 68 years, 9 months and 24 days old. Ronald was retired from Waldron Furniture Factory. He loved to deer hunt and in his younger days he was quite a horseman. He loved working with horses, riding and just being around them. Ronald leaves behind to cherish his memory, one daughter, Cindy Watkins Yarbrough of Waldron, Arkansas and one son, Wayne Watkins of Waldron, Arkansas. Ronald is also survived by two grandchildren: Trevor Watkins and Miranda Yarbrough and one great grandchild, Jaylee Watkins. Ronald will be missed by one sister, Delores Horn and one brother, Charles Watkins both of Waldron, Arkansas. Ronald will be missed by all that knew him and the many who?s lives were impacted by him including numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and loved ones. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, George T. Watkins and Geneva (Taylor) Watkins as well as one son, Chad Watkins. Ronald?s life celebration will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Marvin Fredrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery in Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Ronald?s pallbearers will be Larry Horn, Barry Yarbrough, Thurman Watkins, John Davis, Brian Horn and Tim Nutley. Honorary pallbearers will be Waldron Nursing Center residents and staff. Ronald?s visitation will be Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
