Robert Earl Simmons

Robert Earl Simmons of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, March 30, 2022 in Waldron, Arkansas. Robert was born November 8, 1962 in Mena, Arkansas to Earl Simmons and Lois Faye (Hodges) Simmons. He was 59 years old. Robert was a life long member of Winfield Baptist Church in Winfield, Arkansas.

Robert loved listening to music. Robert enjoyed taking care of his family and spending quality time with his boys. The sunshine of his days was playing with his grandbaby Torryn Blaize.

Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife Lynette Simmons of the home, two sons: Josh Simmons (Shandra) of Greenwood, Arkansas and Jerid Simmons (Georgia) of Waldron, Arkansas and the light of his life, one grandson Torryn Blaize Simmons. Robert is also survived by two sisters: Susan Spence and husband Ed of Waldron, Arkansas and Judy Tucker and husband Douglas of Mansfield, Arkansas. Robert will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted including a host of nieces, nephews and extended family he loved dearly.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lois Simmons.

Robert's life celebration will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 9, 2022 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas. Interment will follow in the Sehorn Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Robert's pallbearers will be Josh Simmons, Jerid Simmons, David Gimlin, Carl Gimlin, Seth Whitney and William Roseberry.

Robert's visitation will be Monday, may 9, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
