Robert "Tooter" Clay Brown of Waldron Arkansas passed from this life Thursday, October 5, 2011 in a Waldron Nursing Home. He was born on May 10, 1948 to the late Fred Wilber Brown and Myrtle Owens Brown. He was 63 years 4 months and 25 days old. Robert was his given name, however, most everyone knew him as "Tooter". If the name Tooter Brown was mentioned, listen closely because in a word or two would be the word horse, horseshoes, cowboy, rodeo or maybe all of the above. When you spoke of one the other just naturally followed. He was a Cowboy's Cowboy. He loved life, the outdoors, country music, going for a great catfish dinner and working with horses was his passion. He was never to be seen without a hat of some kind atop his head. Tooter worked hard and was proud of his home and his family. Tooter worked at Tyson Foods as a Live Haul driver for a number of years until his retirement in 2010. If he wasn't messing with the horses he could be found hanging out at Blacks Station with Rick and the guys. Those left to cherish the memory of "Tooter" is his daughter, Tonya Brown Huie and companion Randy Mattox of Heavener, Oklahoma, one son, Nicholas Brown of Waldron, Arkansas. Two grandchildren, Morgan Huie of Heavener, Oklahoma and Chayse Brown of Waldron, Arkansas, sister Billie "Tootsie" Ford and husband Bob of Waldron, Arkansas and two brothers, Joe Brown and Bill Brown and wife Arlene, all of Waldron, Arkansas as well as many nieces and nephews. Tooter will also be greatly missed by special friends Rick & Virginia Black, Vincent Jones and Tessie Isom all of Waldron, Arkansas and Tessa Hamner Brown of Heavener, Oklahoma. "Tooter's" funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rickey Hunt Officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery in Waldron. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
