Robert "Bob" Luiz Balanco of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Sunday, April 22, 2012 in Waldron, Arkansas. "Bob" was born March 11, 1941 to Luiz Gomes Balanco and Dorothy Abreu Balanco in Oakland, California. "Bob" was 71 years, 1 month and 11 days old. Robert was of the Catholic faith.
Bob was a very loving father and grandfather. He was very much loved by his family. Bob?s sweet nature only complimented his willingness to give to others. Even when he didn?t really have much himself, he would give anyone the shirt off his own back. At a very young age, he introduced his daughter to music, mostly rock and roll. A passion she now shares with her own children. His sense of humor made everyone around him laugh. Bob enjoyed fishing whenever he got a chance to throw in a line somewhere.
Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory, a daughter, Christina Holyoake of San Leandro, California.
Vou-Vou Bob will be forever missed by his grandchildren, Carissa Holyoake and Shane Holyoake.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents Luiz and Dorothy Balanco, and one sister, Diane, who went to be with Jesus at age one year.
Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
