Paul proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Army. Also a sister, Mary Kirkendoll of Fort Smith, Arkansas and a brother, James Hillier and sister-in-law Marguerite of Texarkana, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Charles Hillier and John Hillier.
