Patricia Louise (Patsy) Hawkins, 76, of Booneville, Arkansas formerly of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Friday, April 15, 2011 in a Waldron, Arkansas hospital. Patsy was born December 31, 1934 in Iraan, Texas to the late Dallas Edward Slaughterbeck and Julia Irene (Staggs) Slaughterbeck. She received her bachelor?s degree in banking from Louisiana State University, and was the president of Scott County Bank, a member of Waldron B&PW and Waldron Area Chamber of Commerce. Patsy is survived by her husband, Delbert E. Hawkins of the home; one daughter, Christy Wells and husband Scott of Booneville, Arkansas; three grandchildren Scotlyn, Summer and Sienna all of Booneville, Arkansas. She is also survived by one sister; Delpha Brooks of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister-in-law, Shirley Slaugherbeck of Waldron, Arkansas; one niece, Judy Wyatt of Phoenix, Arizona; and one nephew Randy Helms of Booneville, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margie Hakala, and a brother, Edward Slaughterbeck. Patsy?s funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Williams, officiating. Interment will follow in the Lower Center Point Cemetery near Cauthron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Patsy?s pallbearers will be Johnny Chambers, Danny Thrailkill, Daryen Wiles, Robert Handley, Walter Embrey. Honorary pallbearer will be Randy Helms. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2011 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron. A memorial account has been set up at Chambers Bank in Patsy?s memory.
