Patricia Helms

Patricia Jean Helms of Hon, Arkansas passed from this life Sunday, February 17, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born June 4, 1951 in Shelby, Mississippi to Willis A. Prysock and Billie Marie (Warren) Prysock. Patricia was 61 years, 8 months and 13 days old. She was a member of Evening Shade Baptist Church near Waldron, Arkansas. On February 14, 1970 Patricia married the love of her life, J.T. Helms. They enjoyed 43 years together. Patricia loved the outdoors. When time would afford her the opportunity she enjoyed reading. She also loved to go to church and learn about the Lord. Patricia loved her family and her time with them were her most treasured memories. Patricia leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, J.T. of the home, two daughters: Peggy Foster and husband Eddie of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Stacy Yarbrough and husband Joey of Waldron, Arkansas, one son, Sean William Helms and wife Lorrie of Hon, Arkansas. Nana will forever be missed by six grandchildren: JR Cass, Kyle Cass, Tabitha Yarbrough, Zachary Yarbrough, Sierra Helms and Brier Helms. Patricia is also survived by her mother, Billie Marie Prysock and two sisters: Pennye Horn and Becky Glasspoole all of New Mexico. Patricia will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives were impacted by her including a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Patricia is preceded in death by her father Willis A. Prysock and one brother Keith Prysock. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hon Baptist Church with Rev. Collins Lane officiating. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
