Modean Edwards Thompson of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Monday, March 4, 2013 in Waldron, Arkansas. Modean was born January 22, 1931 in Parks, Arkansas. Modean was 82 years, 1 month and 10 days old. Modean is survived by one uncle, Kyle Edwards, one nephew, Bookie Owens and cousins Ralph Nichols, Bill Franklin and Fran Isham all of Waldron, Arkansas. Modean is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Connie Thompson, her parents, and her siblings. Modean?s life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Diane Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Hawkins Cemetery in Parks, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Modean?s pallbearers will be Pepper Mitchell, Eugene Taff, Jim Evans, Jeff Gilbert, Jackie Gilbert and David Yandell. Modean?s visitation will be Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
