Michael Don Biediger of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed from this life Sunday, October 25, 2015 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Michael was born July 5, 1968 to Joseph J. Biediger and Rita S. (Castling) Lafata in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Michael was a chef by trade. He cooked at Frankie's in Little Rock for many years. He also enjoyed cooking as a hobby for his family and friends. His favorite time to celebrate was July 4. He looked forward to this day all year long. He was awed by all the bright lights and the big fireworks were his favorites. Michael also enjoyed a good fishing trip.
Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory one sister, Christy Hattabaugh and husband Gary of Elm Park, Arkansas, two nephews, Jeff Hattabaugh and wife Jennifer and Jon Hattabaugh and wife Crystal. Uncle Mike will remain in the hearts of his great niece, Chloe and great nephews, Conner and Tucker. Michael is also survived by his mother Rita Lafata and husband Richard of Independence, Missouri, two half sisters, Lisa Daniels and Lindsey Daniels and one half brother Lyon Overturn as well as an aunt Connie Miner and uncle Don Castling and aunt Nancy Castling all of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Biediger.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
