Mary Ann Turpin of Hatfield, Arkansas passed from this life, Friday, December 1, 2017 in Y-City, Arkansas. Mary Ann was born April 13, 1952 in Nashville, Arkansas to Decoy Walston and Margaret Hatch Walston. She was 65 years old.
Mary Ann enjoyed working in her flower bed, hunting for crystal rocks and just being outside. She especially looked forward to family time with all her kids and grandkids.
Mary Ann leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband James Edward Turpin of the home, two daughters: Melissa Turpin of Hatfield, Arkansas, Tammy "Turpin" Daugherty of Ft. Worth, Texas and one son, Jame C. Turpin of Mena, Arkansas. Granny will forever remain in the hearts of her grandchildren: Kimberly Daugherty and Amanda Baker as well as her four great grandchildren. Mary Ann is also survived by one sister, Geraldine Funderburk and one brother Roger Walston both of Nashville, Arkansas. Mary Ann will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives she impacted including a host of extended family, friends and loved ones.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Decoy and Margaret Walston and one brother, Decoy Walston Jr.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
