Mary Ellen James, 74, of Waldron, AR. passed away Friday, November 28, 2008 in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital.
Mary was born in Wichita Falls, TX on July 27, 1934, the daughter of the late Shelby R. and Georgia E. (Puckett) Morgan.
She graduated from West-Ark Community College second in her class as an LPN.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Sandra Newman of High Point, NC., Nita Jones of Waldron, AR.; three sons Larry James of Sherman, TX., Roy Anderson of Mountainburg, AR., and Donny Anderson of Wichita Falls, TX.
She is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren
Mary is also survived by a sister, Shirley McCaffity of Wichita Falls, TX.; a brother, N. J. Morgan of Wichita Falls, TX.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Anderson, and one grandson, Kenny Fuller.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Huntington Cemetery in Huntington, AR. with Pastors C. V. Lewis, and Eddie Harlow officiating under the direction of the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Ar.
Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2008 and 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2008 the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Traver Butenschoen, Markus Richmond, John Schlorff, Tanner Schlorff, Monty Meredith, Nathan Jackson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Linderman, Tommy "Cajun" Leaux.
