Marvin Ray Davis, 70, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas passed from this life April 15, 2011 in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital.
Marvin was born February 22, 1941 in Parks, Arkansas to Tucker E. Davis and Alice Faye (Rogers) Davis.
Marvin is survived by one daughter, Ida Bell Lewis of Sherwood, Arkansas; one grandson, Grant Lewis of Sherwood, Arkansas; and one sister Katie Rodgers of Waldron, Arkansas.
Marvin was preceded in death in addition to his parents by seven other siblings.
Marvin?s graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2011 at the Chant Cemetery in Y-City, Arkansas with Rev. Grady Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Chant Cemetery. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
Marvin?s pallbearers will be Junior Newman, Danny Newman, Kevin Davis, Charles Minor, Todd Johnston and Keith Hayes.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
