Martha Maxine Cheesman

Martha Maxine Cheesman of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Friday, August 29, 2014 in Waldron, Arkansas. Maxine was born January 30, 1930 to Robert Waits and Eva May (Helms) Waits in DeQueen, Arkansas. Martha was 84 years, 6 months and 30 days old.

Maxine loved to be in the outdoors. She enjoyed working in a garden. But her true passion was being with her family and playing with her grandchildren.

Maxine leaves behind to cherish her memory 10 children: David Lee Cheesman, roy Dean Cheesman, James Arnold Cheesman, John Ed Cheesman and all of Waldron, Arkansas, Judy Cox, and Maryann Manning both of Boles, Arkansas, Jane Underwood of Hon, Arkansas, Mayrine Payne, Barbara Scott of Waldron, Arkansas, Lousie Swafford of Mansfield, Arkansas. Grandma will forever be in the hearts of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Maxine is preceded in death by her husband, Dempsie Cheesman, her parents Robert and Eva May Waits, sons, Dempsie Ray Cheesman and Jerry Dale Cheesman, and grandchild Selena Justice.

Maxine's life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Pat Ray Biggs, officiating. Interment will follow in the Pilot Prairie Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Maxine's pallbearers will be John Paul Beohm, Edd Cheesman, Arnold Cheesman, Damen Scott, Gabriel Manning and Bear Manning. Honorary pallbearer will be John Richard Thompson.
Maxine's visitation will be Monday, September 1, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
