Marilyn Sue Hailey of Arkoma, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Sunday, September 30, 2012 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, surrounded by her loving family. Marilyn was born January 5, 1948 to Marvin Wesley Braziel and Betty Marie (Pottridge) Braziel in Bates, Arkansas. Marilyn was 64 years, 8 months and 25 days old. Marilyn was a member of the San Pablo Pentecostal Church of God in San Pablo, California. Marilyn loved the Lord and wanted to share with everyone she knew. Marilyn had a real talent when it came to flowers. She worked as a florist for many years in California and also after she moved back to the areas of Arkansas and Oklahoma. She enjoyed coming up with new creations of design, however, her love and passion was that for her children and grandchildren. Marilyn leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons, Johnny Mengell of Wister, Oklahoma and Brian Keith Lindholm of Poteau, Oklahoma, three grandchildren, Jeremy & Lindsey & Avery and her mother, Betty Stafford and husband Bob of Bates, Arkansas. Marilyn is also survived by one sister, Carolyn Boga of Vallejo, California, two brothers, Kenneth Braziel of Reno, Nevada and David Braziel of Bentonville, Arkansas as well as three step brothers, Bobby Cagle, Troy Stafford and Travis Stafford all of Waldron, Arkansas. Marilyn was loved by all who knew her and will be missed greatly by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family. Marilyn is preceded in death by her father, Marvin Braziel and husbands Pete Mengell and Larry Lindholm. Marilyn?s life celebration and graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012 in Gibson Cemetery with Rev. James Self officiating. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Marilyn?s pallbearers will be Brian Lindholm, Johnny Mengell, David Braziel and Bobby Cagle.
