Marcus Jason Nix of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Monday, November 3, 2014 in Waldron, Arkansas. Mark was born March 6, 1975 to Roger Nix and JoAnn (Janway) Nix in Poteau, Oklahoma. Mark was 39 years, 7 months and 28 days old.
Mark leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Sheila of the home, one daughter and son in law, Andrea & Clint Johnston of Waldron, Arkansas, and two grandchildren: Rylie and Sawyer. Mark will forever remain in the hearts of his parents, Roger Nix and wife LaDonna of Waldron, Arkansas and JoAnn Williams and husband Jerry of Hodgens, Oklahoma, one brother Cody Nix and wife Sonya as well as maternal grandmother, Eva Janway of Hodgens, Oklahoma. Mark will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by him including his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.
Mark is preceded in death by one son, Adam, one brother, Rodney, maternal grandfather, James Janway and paternal grandparents, Roy and Marylene Nix.
Mark's life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Scott County Fox & Wolf Hunters Association Campground near Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Rickey Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Lamb Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
Mark's pallbearers will be Bill Zimmer, Mark Zimmer, Brian Zimmer, Jerad Nix, Clint Johnston and Hunter Nevills.
