Malvin Gerdes

Malvin E. Gerdes, 68, of Howe, Oklahoma passed from this life Sunday, July 17, 2011, in his home. He was born December 12, 1942 in Downey, California to the late Malvin Jessie and Imogene (Dunn) Gerdes. He was a retired maintenance supervisor of Fontana Unified School District. He is survived by his wife Tammy Gerdes, and 11 children, Dianna Hrabak, Tammy Parrott, Malvin Gerdes, Jr., Danny Gerdes, Amanda Michal, Kenneth Gerdes, Holley McMullen, Danielle Lively, Carl Gerdes, Melanie Gerdes and Crystal Gerdes. Two sisters, Billie Melhase and Suzie Huckabee, two brothers, Mike Gerdes and Mark Gerdes along with 25 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews. No service is scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
