Mr. Loyd Clifton Fox, 82, of Boles, AR. passed away Tuesday, November 11th, 2008 at Fort Smith, AR.
Loyd was born in Florence, AL on November 2, 1926, the son of the late Robert C. and Annie L. (Gray) Fox. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Mary Fox.
He was retired rancher. He was a veteran of W. W. II in the USMC and the U. S. Air Force, as a SSGT.
Loyd is survived by four daughters, Nikki L. Fox of Shreveport, LA., Marcia Y. Bullion of New Mexico, Diane Chenault of Shreveport, LA., Marilyn Fox of Fort Smith, AR., and one son, Robert Fox of Clarksville, AR.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Angela Mixon, Alton Eddie Chenault, Jr., Richard Tyler Raines, John Reese, Kevin Reese, Cecil Bullion, Clayton Ray Fox, five great grandchildren, Alexandra Mixon, John Chenault, Dalton Chenault, Charlie Chenault
Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. , Friday, November 14, 2008 at the U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR. under the direction of the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, AR.
Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Reed, Jerry Hutchens, Jimmy Hutchens, Eddie Chenault, Jr., Richard Tyler Raines, John Reese, Kevin Reese, Cecil Bullion, and Clayton Ray Fox.
Visitation will be Thursday, 1:00 to 9:00 P.M. and the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
