Lloyd Odean Graham of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Friday, September 6, 2013 in Waldron, Arkansas. Odean was born March 15, 1932 in Blue Ball, Arkansas to Cohen Graham and Floye (Woodard) Graham. Odean was 81 years, 5 months and 22 days old.
Odean was a man of many talents. He was a mechanic, welder, construction worker, coal miner and pulp wooder. At one time he even owned and operated a service station and tire shop. After retirement, he enjoyed riding 4 wheelers, hunting, fishing and camping. His favorite past time was going to deer camp with family and friends.
Odean leaves behind to cherish his memory, four daughters: Elaine Godfrey, Patti Brown, and Lisa Graham all of Waldron, Arkansas and Rhonda Hooper and husband Kennith D. Hooper Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Odean will forever be missed by nine grandchildren: Jeffery Godfrey of Greenwood, Arkansas, Greg Godfrey, Teresa Hardin, Crystal Scott, Jessica Butler, and Lori Kelley all of Waldron, Arkansas, Sony Godfrey of Stigler, Oklahoma, O.J. Hooper and Dewayne Hooper of Tulsa, Oklahoma, as well as twenty great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Odean will be missed by all who knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by him including numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
Odean is preceded in death by his parents, Cohen and Floye Graham, two sisters, Evelyn Horn and Beuie Moore, one brother, Lester Graham, and one son in law, Jimmy Graham.
A private interment service will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
