Lainey Gayle Mays

Baby Lainey Gayle Mays, infant daughter of Thomas and Dayna Mays, was greeted by angels on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, in Mena, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family.

Baby Lainey is survived by her parents, Thomas and Dayna Mays; six siblings: Brayden, Cody, Logan, Kaylee, Paxton and Kreed; maternal grandmother, Mickey Harris; paternal grandparents Rhonda & Arnold Elmore; and Phyllis Mays; Uncle Michael & Aunt Alina Manning; Uncle Jeffery Manning Jr; Uncle Dave & Aunt Andrea Taylor; Aunt Sarah and Uncle Brandon Catlett; and Aunt Phylisa and Uncle Michael Millard and numerous cousins.

Baby Lainey was preceded in death by: her two brothers: Memphis Kade and Pheniox Douglas; paternal grandfather, Ronnie Mays; maternal grandfather Jeffery Manning Sr.; and Uncle Jimmy.

The arrival on earth of Baby Lainey was anticipated with eagerness and great joy and the passing has touched the hearts of all of her family and friends. Baby Lainey will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by all those who awaited her arrival.

Baby Laney's life celebration and interment will be a private family gathering on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Pilot Prairie Cemetery in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Konnor McKay officiating. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
