Kenneth Wayne Howell of Blue Ball, Arkansas went to be with the Lord November 6, 2011. He was born December 7, 1944 in Hampton, Virginia to the late Joseph & Dorothy Howell. He was 66 years 10 months and 30 days old. Kenneth was a faithful member of Waltreak United Methodist Church and Church Sexton. Kenneth also served in the United States Army. He was a veteran and proudly served in the Vietnam War. As a boy Kenneth loved to fish. He married the sunshine of his life his wife Rose. Together Kenneth and Rose had four children. Kenneth devoted his days to loving and caring for his family and his grandchildren. He was faithful to ring the church bell with Tristan, his youngest grandchild, every Sunday morning five minutes before church services. He was a friend to all he knew. He was known in the community for putting others needs before his own. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Rose Howell of the home, four children, Thelma and husband Dane Millard of Waldron, Arkansas, Scott Howell and wife Jenny of Briggsville, Arkansas, Kim and husband Billy Joe Hale of Haletown, Arkansas, and Vicki and husband Patrick Millard of Blue Ball, Arkansas. Papa will be forever missed by twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Kenneth is also survived by two sisters, Betty Good and Rose Hogg both of Hampton, Virginia and three brothers, James Wesley Howell of Martinsville, Virginia, Joel Albert Howell of Danville, Arkansas and Elwood Howell of Hampton, Virginia. Kenneth was preceded in death by one baby daughter Lori and one brother Johnny Howell of Virginia. Kenneth?s going home service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Waltreak United Methodist Church in Waltreak, Arkansas with Rev. Larry Pat Millard officiating. Interment will follow in the Hunt Cemetery in Blue Ball, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Kenneth?s pallbearers will be his grandsons:Shawn, Dustin, Michael, Ethan, Heath and Tristan. Kenneth?s visitation will be Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas. The family receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
