Jimmy Ray Amburn of Parks, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, February 24, 2022 in Parks, Arkansas. JImmy was born May 21, 1936 in Dallas, Texas to Edwin Lee Amburn and Minnie Evelyn (Lewis) Amburn. He was 85 years old.

Jimmy was a member of Haw Creek Baptist Church in Waldron. He loved the outdoors, hunting, gardening and building food plots for the wildlife on his property. When he couldn't be outside, he enjoyed reading but he mostly enjoyed caring for and loving on his pets.

Jimmy leaves behind to cherish his memory, his spouse, Rebecca Sue Amburn of Parks, Arkansas, his children: Marilyn Kay McNally of Mesquite, Texas, James Ray Amburn of Weatherford, Texas, one step son Robert Ritter Richardson, one brother Gary Amburn, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Jimmy is also survived by close friends Margaret and Chris Glenn who were like family to him. Jimmy will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted, including a host of friends and family he loved dearly.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife Linda Amburn, parents, Edwin and Minnie Amburn one brother, Billy Edwin Amburn, and two daughters, Debra Ann Martin, Janet Elane Amburn.

Jimmy's life celebration will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
