Jerry Dunn Parker, 69, of Winfield, Arkansas passed from this life Friday, December 31, 2010 in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital. Jerry was born September 9, 1941 in Waldron, Arkansas to the late George Walton Parker and Letha June (Dunn) Parker. He was a farmer and rancher. Jerry is survived by his wife, Joyce Parker of the home; one daughter, Christal Ridenhour and husband Dan of Winfield, Arkansas; one son, Jerry Dunn Parker, Jr. of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two grandsons, Evan Parker and Owen White Ridenhour of Winfield, Arkansas; two sisters, Mary Carolyn Roberson of Little Texas, Arkansas; and Reba Joyce Rader of Russellville, Arkansas. Jerry?s funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Free, officiating. Interment will follow in the Sehorn Cemetery in Winfield, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron. Jerry?s pallbearers will be Gary House, Ronnie Johnson, Robert Newman, S. A. Walls, Willis ?Butch? Hanna, and Charles ?Buzz? Mullens. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Vaughan, Thomas Taylor, Tom McMurrian, Roy McMurrian, Gary Clepper, and Terry Rhyne. Jerry?s visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
