James Edward Weaver

James Edward Weaver of Waldron, Arkansas, passed from this life, Monday, January 13, 2014 in Mabelvale, Arkansas, surrounded by his loving family. James was born October 26, 1957 to Delmar Sanford Weaver and Lena Elizabeth (Harmon) Weaver in Kennett, Missouri. James was 56 years 2 months and 18 days old.

James loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. For a number of years, James could be found at the Sodie Davidson Park where he was the man behind the park being in excellent condition for all the community kids to play their sports. James was married to his loving wife, Barbara Sue (Ridenhour) Weaver for 12 years. Together they shared wonderful memories with their blended and extended families. Time spent with James family were among his priceless treasures.

James leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Barbara Sue (Ridenhour) Weaver of the home, one daughter, Jamie Roach of Dell, Arkansas, one step daughter, Marissa Woodard of Charleston, four sons, Mike Weaver of Marbelvale, Arkansas, Trenton Weaver, Dakoda Weaver, and Bryce Weaver all of Waldron, Arkansas, two step sons, Lee Woodard of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Keith Woodard of Waldron, Arkansas. Papa will remain in the hearts of six grandchildren. James is also survived by brothers, Jack Weaver of Clubb, Missouri, Jerry Weaver of St. Petersburg, Florida, Lary Weaver of Lodi, California, Rick Weaver of Paragould, Arkansas and Carl Weaver of Brooklyn, Arkansas as well as sisters: Linda Weaver Wedemeier of Largo, Florida, Jody Weaver Whitaker of Paragould, Arkansas, Lou Varvil of Paragould, Arkansas, Dot Harvey of Dixie, Arkansas and Joyce Robinson of Wachula, Florida. James will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by him including many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Delmar and Lena Weaver, four older brothers and one grandson, Tyler Weaver.

James' life celebration will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Rickey Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Sehorn Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

James' pallbearers will be Shawn Taylor Lance Lowery, Sheldon McEntire, Jeff Ridenhour, Ronnie James and Alec Curtis.

James' visitation will be Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas where James' family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
