James Godfrey

James R. Godfrey, 67, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at his home in Waldron, Arkansas. James was born January 17, 1943 in Parks, Arkansas to William Sam Godfrey and Nora Mae (Hawkins) Godfrey. He is survived by two sons, Steve Godfrey of Waldron, Arkansas, James Wesley Godfrey of Russellville, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Steven and Chase Godfrey; mother, Nora Helton of Greenwood, Arkansas; one sister, Kathy Vaughn of Greenwood, Arkansas; three brothers, Johnny Godfrey of Waldron, Arkansas, Randy Godfrey of Greenwood, Arkansas, and William Godfrey of California. James was preceded in death by his father, William Sam Godfrey; two sisters, Louise Murray, Lucille Watkins; two brothers, William E. Godfrey, and Danny Godfrey. James? memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Julie Wells, officiating. Interment will be in the Hawkins Cemetery. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.
