James Boman

James Allen Boman of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, October 9, 2012 near Ola, Arkansas. James was born February 2, 1956 in Mena, Arkansas to LeRoy and Betty Jean (Slater) Boman. James was 56 years, 8 months, and 7 days old. He was a member of the Living Word.

James loved God with a passion and was always willing to share his faith with everyone. He was also a hard working man, that provided for his family. He was a logger for over 20 years and loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time in nature. It has been said the when you saw James Boman, he always had a smile on his face and could make you laugh, he never meet a stranger. He had the biggest and kindest heart in the world. He married the love of his life Judi on December 21, 1973. But most of all James was so proud of, and loved his grandchildren with all of this heart. Grand-popy or Grandpa as his grandchildren called him will be missed by all of them.

James leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 38 years, Judi (Brooks) Boman of the home; two daughters, Rhonda Brumbelow, and husband, Allen of Waldron, Arkansas, Dawn Boyd of Waldron, Arkansas; one son, James Boman of Waldron, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Gregory,Jaylin, Dustyn, Tristan Brumbelow, Taylor Boman, Kevin Beeles, Hailey, Aerial and Ryan Boman.

James is also survived by three sisters, Debbie Cheesman and husband, Thurman of Waldron, Irene Waddle of Waldron, Arkansas, and Delta Erwyn and husband, Joe of Des Moines, Iowa.


James? celebration of life service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Grady Parker, Rev. Waymon Hunt and Rev. Wendell Secor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.

James? pallbearers will be Gregory, Jaylin, Dustyn, and Tristan Brumbelow, Taylor Boman, Wade Cheesman, Dennis Chessman and Thurman Paul Cheesman.

James? visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas
