Helen Faye Denton of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, November 10, 2012 in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Helen was born April 25, 1941 in Waldron, Arkansas to Kester Samuel and Leona Jane (Lamarr) Henry . Helen was 71 years, 6 months and 16 days old. Helen was a member of the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church in Waldron, Arkansas. In August of 1958, Helen married the love of her life, Bill Denton. Together they had two sons. Helen loved her family and enjoyed taking care of them. Helen, in addition to being a member of the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church, was also a member of the Harmony Ladies Auxiliary. She loved crocheting, knitting, and sewing. Helen also enjoyed going out and eating with friends. Most of all she was so proud of her son for being in law enforcement as a Arkansas State Trooper. Helen leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son, Rickey Denton and wife, Mary of Ozark, Arkansas; mother, Leona Henry of Waldron, Arkansas; one sister Norma Swisher and husband Eddie of Waldron, Arkansas; and one brother, Wayne Henry of Waldron. Grammy also leaves to cherish her memory, two grandchildren, Cody Denton of Burlington, Wisconsin, and Ashley Denton of Racine, Wisconsin. Helen is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones who will miss her dearly. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Denton; one son, Gregory Denton; and father, Kester S. Henry. Helen?s life celebration will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. David Williams and Rev. Michael Jordon, officiating. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery in Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Helen?s pallbearers will be Clinton Graham, Carlton Graham, L.D. Powell, Tommy Franklin, Vernon Beaty and Bill Ray. Helen?s visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. , Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas where her family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m..
